Beads of courage are necklaces given only to children who are hospitalized in the cardiac and cancer units during an extended hospital stay. Each bead represents a different medical procedure done to a child during their hospitalization. The exact pamphlet describing each beads significance seems to have
gotten lost in the shuffle from CICU to the 6th floor. We have a check up Monday so I will get another one when we go back. On the road to healing and good heart health. WooHOO!!
